When onWriting started, it was a book review blog. And when Sakhi came on board, it became a lot more than just book reviews. We decided that it would become a hub for readers, writers and publishers to talk to each other through content – their reviews, their work and their thoughts.
It was a huge shift. And we wanted to tell ourselves of the large responsibility that we were going to take up. So, we decided to do something about it – change the way the we present content on the website. And it started with the logo.
When Saurabh gets stuck and needs help on design, the first call he makes is to a friend, who refuses to be named. He bounced off the ideas with her. And like all other times, she came up with these three simple and yet brilliant options.
That left us with a tough task of choosing one of these three. And after exactly two conversations, Sakhi and Saurabh picked the second option.
So, ladies and gents, presenting to you, the new logo and with it, the new avatar (you will see slow and gradual changes on the website and social media in the next few days) for www.onWriting.in. There are also plans to come out with a small merchandise range, and if you would like to place an order for any product with the logo, drop us an email.

We want to be a strong voice about literature and reading and the business of the two, of India and the world, of past and the present. We want to ask questions and seek answers about what people are reading, why they read or write what they do and how do books change their lives. We understand that stories are the threads of the fabric of humanity, and we want to bring the best stories to fore. Everything else is a waste of paper.
